After School Tutoring Program

Is the work at school too hard?
Do you need help understanding new information?
Is your goal to pass all your classes this year?

If so please join us for After School Tutoring starting September 4, 2019 Tuesday to Thursday 3:45pm to 5pm. Freshman on Tuesday
Sophomores on Wednesday
Juniors on Thursday
Seniors any/everyday as necessary
Credit Recovery Every Day
*If you need extra days please join as frequently as needed*

Remember start the school year strong, End the school year strong.

ACT/College Prep Classes 19/20

Welcome Back Warriors!!

We have pleasure of offering students ACT/College Prep classes for the 2019-2020 school year. Over the last two years, we have been fortunate enough to be partner with Reader to Reader Program, which has been instrumental in helping our students be able to successful in taking the ACT college readiness exam and being awarded the Gates Millennium Scholarship. For 15 years, Reader to Reader has been working on the Navajo Nation to promote literacy and post-secondary opportunities. This year we are fortunate enough to have Kyle Clark, Reader to Reader liaison and representative, to help support student success. He is
eagerly looking forward to collaborating with us to assist seniors and juniors reach their full potential and realize their post-secondary aspirations. Attached is our schedule for services.

School Supplies

Greetings Parents,

Gallup McKinley County School District will be providing all school supplies to all students enrolled in the district. The school supplies will be distributed accordingly:

August 5th at 5:00PM – 7:00PM: Parents of Navajo Middle School and Navajo Pine High School may pick up school supplies for their child in their respective school site. The parents or student will be required to sign for the supplies.

Bus Routes

GMCS transportation department is working on the bus routes to improve the routes. The GMCS Transportation Department realizes that there have been some issues with students getting home in a timely manner. The GMCS Transportation Department is looking at all routes to make improvements in the transportation of students to and from school. I hope summer break was amazing!!
As summer break comes to an end, make sure you are preparing for the 19-20 SY. Make sure you complete your enrollment forms. Come ready to learn and grow while enjoying another wonderful year of school. Seniors- Back to school senior meetings will be July 17 to August 2 8am to 3pm. Freshman, Sophomores, & Juniors- Come pick up schedules, and make changes as necessary to your schedule.
