Honor Roll Scholars- Q1

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Congratulations!!! This letter is to inform you that your child has received
Honor Roll second quarter, semester 1, or both. You should be so proud of your child for their perseverance and dedication to maintaining such high academic standards for themselves. We know you, as parents, play a huge role in motivating your child to reach such high academic standards. For that, we would like to thank you and ask for your continued support in motivating your child to reach their full potential. With receiving Honor Roll, there are some distinctions in Grade Point Averages. The three distinctions of high honors are: Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Summa Cum Laude. Cum Laude is for students who GPA’s fall in the 3.4 –3.6 range. Magna Cum Laude is for students who GPA’s fall in the 3.61-3.89 range. Summa Cum Laude is for students who GPA’s fall in 3.9 and above range. Students who have a cumulative or semester GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Principal’s List. Take the time and congratulate your child on a job well done. Please if there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email me @ 505-721-3613/5313 or @ jstepney@gmcs.k12.nm.us.
